Pah. 175/50s s what you want More seriously, 215/50s go nicely on 10s and are a bit cheaper than 235/45s which are the widest 13s you can buy I believe.

Woah! I'm currently negotiating the purchase of a set of 13x10's, but I was planning to stretch some narrower tyres on there so never thaught about 'proper' size tyres!

Oh no no no
Your biggest options are
235/40/13 Khomo trackday tyres at 90odd quid each
235/50/13 BF Goodriches? discontinued but just about avalible 2nd hand
after that theres severall choices of 215s and loads of 205s.
205/60s will go on the 10s easy but are quite high profile and stretched so you might want to consider the bigger sizes depending on what your looking for.!

Quite limited options looking around and would suggest as (others have mentioned) that 205-60-13 would be best.

Slater is correctus. I've got some 215/50 kumho and 235/50 bf goodrich available. I would warn against the 235/45 kumhos they're not good road tyres.
