Not missing much, except the opportunity to overload with impotent vitriol in the direction of the telly. Basically, some flatulent nerd who hasn't had any from his wife since 1983 set up this site for similar morons www.betterdrivingplease.com where they can show pictures and post details of "bad drivers". How do you write down a registration number or take quality pictures of offenders, whilst on the move AND while remaining in full & proper control of your vehicle / paying full attention to all that is around you (not just a nob cutting you up)? QED. |

He was a complete c*ckj*ckey, but not as annoying as that tw*t in the Jeep, or those lentil knitting gobshites blocking off London on their cycles. The bloke they blocked off in the 4x4 must have had the patience of a saint because despite the fact I'm normally quite mild mannered I'd have got out and punched that poncey freak all over the show and as many of his great unwashed acquaintances too.

I changed my work hours to 10am-6pm because I couldn't be bothered with the rush hour, now I get the roads largely to myself! Such a lovely experience to drive back through the city in the evening with a minimum of rushed, idiotic drivers to wind me up. This minor change has made such a huge difference to my day, I actually look forward to driving on the roads! Fantastic.
Anyway, I remember that website, largely because we entered a load of rubbish into it. Bruce Forsyth doing 70 in a 30 on a jet-powered unicycle, etc.

Fair play to Ole beardy and his betterdriving website, He's noticed the roads are pretty much completely lawless and has tried to do something about it. Even though in reality it's pretty half arsed.
What boils my curse word about these shows is that according to the beeb, every driver on the roads is a school run mum taking there kids 200 yards to school in a 4x4 in a posh part of London.

I salute him, really I do, as some drivers really simmer my sh*t - but the kind of people that have taken to entering dozens of car registrations on a daily basis for what basically amounts to different styles of driving really let the place down.
"Driver was in front of me waiting to enter a roundabout and accelerated quickly into a small gap" - so, reading between the lines, you're a doddery old fool and need a gap the length of a supertanker to get into.
"This car undertook me on the sliproad as I was travelling in lane 1 on the motorway" - no mention of speeds used, perhaps the errant driver was building up speed on the sliproad to avoid a collision with a plank doing 55 down the motorway?
I've not put any false information in, however I have had a few arguments with other comments left. My favourite is people quoting highway code rules like they're law.... grrrr.

hey billy - those 'lentil knitting gobshites' (ie critical mass) make me laugh my cock off - I'm a hardcore cyclist as well as loving the motors, and they are just basically knobbers who have no roadsense at all
- I've ridden with a few 'demo' groups, and they just shouldn't be allowed on the road as pedestrians - let alone cyclists - the only way to survive traffic on a bike is to WATCH WHERE YOU ARE GOING!! - 3 years inner city liverpool on a bike with only one functioning brake and I'm still here!! (just accept that cars, trucks, buses etc are dangerous!)
grrrrrrr! - still, was dissapointed that the naked cycle demo was london not manchester - as my mate was in that one on his chopper (think 40 odd year old angry kid!)

That guy makes me laugh, but I think he's done us a favour. He's grouped together other self-righteous, nosey, over-zealous interfering morons and given them a forum to spout their drivel on which, in the end, means absolutely nothing both in terms of the law and in the greater scheme of things.
I take great pleasure in knowing that once they slip off of this mortal coil, all of their impotent whittling, whining, complaining and whinging will have had absolutely no effect what-so-ever and they will have wasted their time, which could have been put to greater use actually having a life.

As you say it doesn't matter what you ride or drive you have a responsibility to take care and look out for others. I just have a real downer on the kind of soap/work dodging 'right on' twonks like that who just seem to want to demo for the sake of being an obnoxious, overbearing two bob gobsh*te.
