Lets clear up car terms: "Understeer" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car. "Oversteer" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car. "Horsepower" is how fast you hit the fence. "Torque" is how far you take the fence with you.

I know a couple of paint places of decent repute in Nottingham, one who is 100% top but very expensive. Ristes Coachworks are good. I'm trying to remember the name of the other one, a local guy had a '46 Chevy coupe done there. Blinding job. Not cheap and it was there a good 6 months

place I went to - who are excellent - looked at my Buick and said "unless you've got at least £5K then lets not waste time pricing the job". Hmmm.... but good paint costs good money. Its about drawing the line where its sensible without ending up with a shoddy job. good luck and pass on the recommends.... I also know a good guy in Sheffield, and his prices are very reasonable. Not "cheap" but "reasonable".

No prob. You mayhave to remind me if you don't hear back in a day or two. I know he's moved from one place to another recently and I need to check where the new place is.
