Been refurbing my revolutions. I've polished the dish and rim, however there are a few marks in the rim that I don't want to cut out as it'll make the rim a bit thin for my liking.
Is there a filler that I can use which can be polished so it shines like the alloy?
If not i've got a few old alloys. I was gonna get a flap wheel on them and collect the dust that comes off and mix it in some normal filler. Will this polish, or even work?

There's this filler I've used in the past... Metalik or something... I think I got it from Halfords. It has aluminium flakes in it. I'm not sure if it has enough to polish up to a shine though. Either way, it's damn good filler and nice to use in normal bodywork jobs!

Weld up the pitting? Shouldn t warp the wheel as it will be just a little spot of weld, not like you will be putting serious heat into it.

Ooooh, lovely dishage!! I'd give that Metalik stuff a crack then - it sets a silvery colour so could blend in nicely.

If the hole isn't too big a bit of solder might work. Not sure how it'll stick to the alloy but it's worth a punt.
