Dear RR hive mind.
I have recently purchased a Liner Rough Rider dumper.
It has a number plate, but the previous owner never had a V5 for it.
It is showing as not taxed or tested on the DVLA website, so does that mean it's 'on the system' and ought be fairly straightforward?
The V62 looks pretty simple, should I include a covering letter? And take photos of the chassis plate, number plate (if I can get both in one picture all the better) and a selection of anything else to aid identification.
I don't really need to go on the road, but it means I can (legally) nip across a road which would avoid a steep boggy patch of the property.
Also, thump along the lane to the pub on it...
A picture of the beast
Doovla says;
Also, would it need MOTing? I guess if I can get a V5, I will insure it and just try to tax it and see what happens.
Or wait till Dec when it turns 40?
Any advice appreciated. I'm hoping it will be delivered today, but am away 'till Saturday, and can't wait to play on it.
