Hi –
Posting my 1991 735i L here as it's currently on eBay. Hoping for the right person to come along and take care of her...

Classic 7 series BMW E32 735iL 1991 silver blue auto
Beautiful and rare classic luxury saloon. Rare long wheel base version.
1991 735iL in ‘Glacier Blue’. Automatic 3.4 litre six cylinder petrol engine. 127,600 genuine miles. Full MoT (expires 28/11/24). Deep blue leather interior with electric seats. Only three owners from new. Very original car, not modded or messed around.
Drives nicely for age and still very powerful.
Owned for 7+ years, bought from BMW dealer in Saffron Walden, 2016, and covered only approx 13,000 miles since. Reluctant sale, as she does not get used enough to warrant me keeping her.
Excellent for her age, though by no means perfect. Lots of small age-related marks. A great car with plenty to get your teeth into.
Good bits
• Full MOT
• Good strong engine, lots of six cylinder power, and snappy kick down
• 3 green lights on service indicator
• Low mileage for year
• MOT until 28 November 2024
• Good body work for age, no bad dents, no rust on wheel arches, etc
• V5 present and a good amount of recent history
• Four good tyres
• Very good underneath, no signs of rot
• New rear brake discs and pads for last MOT
• New exhaust 2017, new distributor cap 2018, lots of other small updates
• Excellent interior, only very light wear to driver’s side bolster
• Most things work as they should
• Radio and tape deck working, speakers upgraded in 2019
Bad bits
• Crack in offside front dipped beam lens, still solid and not an MOT fail
• Some age-related stone chips to nose and bonnet
• Fan working, but very weak and noisy, air-con not working
• Self-levelling suspension warning comes on intermittently – but the system has been replaced by conventional dampers – an sensor issue, I believe
• Might need new battery thanks to lack of use
• Two 10p size patches on offside lower rear door and footplate, and nearside lower door aperture
• Alloys could do with painting
• Paint flaking on offside wing mirror and rear bumper
• Headlining is starting to sag near to rear window
• Surface rust on dashboard speaker grills
• Scuff to rear nearside bumper and scrape above, which were present when I bought her
• Small dent beneath number plate
• Boot struts are weak and don’t always hold it up
Car is located in Stamford, Lincolnshire, PE9.
Any questions, just contact me on here, or via eBay.
Cheers!
