I have taken this out of 60's kit car, but I don't know if it is from a classic or more modern car. Approx. dimensions are 570mm Width x 570mm Length x 150 to 120mm Depth. Fuel Inlet Pipe is 50mm dia. It looks similar to the MGB fuel tank, but the fuel sender is in the wrong location. It's in good nick so I want to sell it on to someone who actually needs it. Has anyone got any idea what car it is for? TIA

Yes I agree Cortina it forms part of the boot floor. Trivia - The unpunched second filler pressing is so that it can be used for the Corsair.

Cheers. Yes, it definitely looks exactly like the Mk1 Cortina. Useful to know it can also be used for the Corsair. Not sure whether it is the same as the GT? All good info thanks and it means I will be able to pass this on to someone who really needs it for it's OEM purpose
