Since crockpot agreed that the photos of his current US trip are worth their own thread rather then slowly disappearing in the spotted thread, I will start this photo dump for him, so he will not have to lose too much time spent on the internet rather with his wife on the californian roads. crockpot , please post Your coming photos in here. But in first case enjoy Your trip! Spotted in Monterey today Didn't get the evil sounding '69 Chevelle as it was in traffic, or the very nice '64 Mustang. Must try harder. Today on the Pacific coast highway Wifey took this as we went by Up a side street in Santa Monica today Just up from the beach Lastly, for Lol's only. Mrs Crockpot has a thing for anything she can make a noise with to music. So when we came across a load of Hare Krishna dudes and they offered her some maracas... Missed this one. Model T on the Pacific coast highway Finally, I promise. Hippy bus near our hotel this morning

Wow! I am honoured. Thank you braaap for this. I have nothing to show at the moment, we have just spent two nights in Las Vegas and are shattered. The heat is ferocious and you can feel the sun burning. Luckily we did find a couple of bars with decent beer.

I did try to upload some of my Vegas photos but I seem to be struggling with them. I'll have a go tomorrow, I'm off to bed. It only 10 o'clock but I'm done. Mrs Crockpot has been fast off for an hour! We're on the road again tomorrow to Kingsman, a nice short run . Route 66 goes from there to Flagstaff so I should have some good photos from that section of our journey.

Thanks for posting. These two for me. Love me a Nomad but that second one has got me thinking that a ton of work has gone into that. Started as a '54 Chevy 3100 panel van IINM.

It's Tuesday so it must be Arizona lol.
We drove out of Vegas and up to the high desert towards Kingsman and felt right at home, it poured down! It didn't last though and we were in a stunning landscape (pictures when Wifey emails them to me). Kingsman is a small (by US standards) town with just Beale Street of interest. We found a brewery tap so it would have been rude not to.
There was nothing of automotive interest to photograph.

Any other state visits planned? Then I will change the title. We are going California to Nevada to Arizona and back to California (San Francisco). Currently in Arizona and will be for a several days.

We carried on to Seligman where we stopped for a coffee and piece of superb NY cheesecake (which was also huge, it was almost 3" thick) the road from Kingman to here is spectacular, I've tried to capture it in photos but they really don't do the huge vistas justice. Off out with Mrs Crockpot now for chow and a brew (three breweries within walking distance, how convenient! ). I'll carry on tomorrow.

Last stop of the day after Williams is Flagstaff where we will chill out for two days. Tonight involved a walk to the Mother Road Brewery. It is in a re-purposed industrial building and again is a working brewery with tap and good food. That's all for now.

So, we were in Seligman. A small one street town that relies on Route 66 tourism. It's worth a look though. I had to do a bit of research to find out what this is, apart from obviously being a British taxi of some description. Apparently It's a Beardmore. I wonder how it found it's way to Arizona?
