some decent motors there, looks like they were prepared for it turning wet.

I like that little (austin?) hotrod. I don't like the more popular coupes, but the sedans do it more for me.

But in this case I did not like the overdose of red from the carpet, that also mirrored in the deeeep black paint job, plus the red seats.

Had to do something about it. And while doing that, did I spot a maserati writing on the cylinder head?

Something about that Standard makes me wonder if it's a Dave Rothwell build. Does anyone know for certain? It's got a lot of his trademarks; Less common Brit/European body, super straight paint and panel gaps, high tech European engine, large wheels inside standard width arches etc.

What an odd selection of cars. Not really representative of the uk scene at all. It’s like it’s been curated by someone who wishes it was still 2003. Like the sort of thing the NSRA committee would do. .

Not a bad thing is that’s what you’re into I guess.

It's probably a fair representation of the cars that actually applied to be shown though. I would like to see more traditional/ period rods and customs represented too but if those people prefer to attend more exclusive  segregated events like the the Hayride, Giant Killers, Pendine etc then that's their choice.
