I've got a Mini which at the moment only has one working squirter. I'm not sure why it's not working but if i don't get it fixed in time are they both needed for the MOT?

Windscreen washers , Hide You do not need to inspect windscreen washers on vehicles with: an opening windscreen some other means of providing the driver with an adequate view through the windscreen to the front, left and right Washers must provide enough fluid for the wipers to clear the windscreen effectively. Defect Category (a) Windscreen washers not working or not providing sufficient fluid to clear the windscreen |

I think that means yes. I'll look into getting it fixed

Usually they just need a blow through with an air line, if you don't have one then try a needle/pin in the outlet and if that doesn't work then pop it out and have a scrape around from the inlet side with the pin and then blow through it. New chrome ones on ebay are dirt cheap if for some reason it won't clear.

One is sufficient. So it's s squirty bottle of water to hand for a driver tbh.
