It was great to meet you at Bicester HoTWire! Thanks for the kind words. I also saw Darren from Trade Classics there along with a few other local faces from Warwickshire. It was quite something.
As for last week, It was interesting for sure:
As for last week, It was interesting for sure:
- I was set on sending off my M3 at the end of the summer for its bodywork. My friend however, offered me some discount on dampers. I quoted the Koni nos, and I got offered a stellar deal on some coilovers, a set which I never considered recently, due to the price of them. So the bodywork may be deferred, but now I have the taste for refurbishing the car, I'll have to do something
- 325d got a clean, with me cleaning the interior out more thoroughly than ever before. It was pretty filthy inside from the previous owner, but the grime appears to be going now (y)
- The Motorbike got a fancy exhaust fitted, after a great deal I spotted. I am now officially an Akrapovic shaft massager. It was very good value, but the exhaust is a mixed blessing. I'm not sure if it has the cat still in it, but my jacket and my work bag (the bike is a dry climate commuter) stink of exhaust fumes, so that may go. OTOH, if I do sell it, it's more cash in the pot for the M3 respray.
- After Bicester, I went with my mate
- The M3 went on a proper jaunt. Since I've got it out of hibernation, I've cleaned it, and have begun to use it signficantly more, despite its issues. I would as a result, do the German night, called Strassenkultur at Caffeine and Machine, as well the Dub Club meet in Fargo Village in Coventry, which were both decent events all things said
- Getting back to getting a little busier with work, as well as a family stuff, with me becoming an uncle again
