Hey Folks, Another week, another weekly chat, your place for stuff that may not warrant a full thread, or stuff that is just going on right now that you want to share. Update from last last week's thread opener... I have still failed to buy a new tool box and now it is very cold in my garage. Previous Thread : forum.retro-rides.org/thread/223583/chat-thread-on-mind-wc

I'm feeling the chill too. I have a fairly decent clarke space heater as well, but it seems to be really erratic on start up so I keep sidelining it and enduring the cold.
The sensible thing would be to pin the usual work and fix the heater, which would make me more productive because I'd then be warm... but then when am I ever sensible?

I may hopefully be making a exciting new purchase later today that should take my daily Clio to the next level over the coming months.

I need to tweak the log burner my brother made for the garage last year so it works properly.....but that eats into other garage work....but I don't want to go into the garage because its cold.....but if I do go into the garage I really need to do the MOT jobs on the Polo not fix a wood burner....but it's cold in the Garage so I don't want to go. Its a vicious cycle that has taken weeks to perfect!

I've been told I'm not allowed to do this. Iโd killed the grass on half of it by parking the Fug on there, the car cover blocked all the light. It was starting to get pretty muddy with all the rain recently which helped to convince us to do it

Been a bit preoccupied this week so far, work Christmas do + lots of people having their last week at work before Xmas (not me sadly) means lots of stuff needs to be finished this week.
So I missed sharing this madness

I think the Gymkhana series was getting a bit samey , but i do like the newer ones with Pastrana .
The current one is quite entertaining & watching him at the very end calmly explaining to paramedics what he thinks is wrong is quite something !!

I was going to start a new thread about places with cars on roofs, but Iโve got Covid and too dosed up with paracetamol and codeine to concentrate. Looking for more info about this place, which you can see if you get the train from Waterloo East to Lewisham: www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4364458Havenโt been past there in well over a decade so I was surprised to see it all still there when I went the other week. Two other South London ones were a garage on the main road between Catford and Lewisham, and a garage next to the St Germains pub near Forest Hill had a decaying yellow XJ6 on the roof.

I know Iโm a bit delirious with Covid and all, but I really donโt remember them chaining women to blown small blocks in Knight Rider to stop them running away. Posting this here for later in case Iโm hallucinating.

Because we all love a Multipla really! EmDee certainly does! Not sure how it happened, bought the first one as a bit of a joke, then realised how great they are. Nothing can replace mine tbh. Am always looking though, obvs ๐ have a pic ๐
