Hello, i have a 1983 starlet with a 3k motor (1200cc) and it has the k40 transmission (4 speed). I want to upgrade it with a 5 speed. Instead of buying the k50 transmission, i was wondering if a ke70 5 speed Corolla transmission would fit my car. For any question please ask me. Anything would be useful. thanks

It will fit onto the engine and the propshaft will fit but your gear shifter will be coming up 2 or 3 inches further back. You'll have to lengthen the hole in your floor or swap a starlet k50 tail section on.
