Hello all, need some advice for my 2003 omega. It's a 2.2 with ABS brakes.
Recently I was driving and the front drivers side caliper seized. Upon getting it home, I did managed to free it up, get the piston moving freely etc. My plan was initially to remove the caliper so I began to undo the line to the back of the caliper but before completely undoing it, had a change of heart and thought I'd be better off doing it in situ.
My issue now is that the brakes will not bleed regardless of what I do. The most I can get out of any caliper is a small spurt of fluid but this quickly subsides. Even removing the bleed screws entirely, nothing comes out and it all stays bone dry. This is not just on the affected caliper but on all of them. I have tried bleeding the conventional way, and via an eezibleed.
Fluid is making it's way to the ABS pump itself. I have cracked off the nipple from the reservoir to the ABS pump and can see fluid seeping out, so I don't believe there is a blockage at the reservoir end.
Where do I go from here?
