Hi
Got a 1998 Honda integra type R and it has typical Honda rust in the rear arches and sills. Needs to be cut out and new metal welded in for the MOT.
I went to one place and they said they wouldn’t do rust repair, they appear to only do crash repair on modern stuff from what I could tell.
Anyone know of any reasonable priced place that will do this sort of work in the Brighton or surrounding area please?

No help I'm afraid but I'll be interested to see if anyone offers a recommendation. I'm in Sussex as well and have a similar need for some work on the rear sills on one of mine.

Might be a bit further than you want to go but Stella Welding in Cranleigh did a good job on a repair to the chassis rail on my Cortina - stella-welding.co.uk/They could do it quickly and I didn't think they were wildly expensive. cheers Cortinaman

That could be helpful for someone else though 👍

Ha that’s awesome, under normal circumstances I would do that but a little pressed for time currently. Just got a quote from Portslade panel works who have worked on my cars in the past. Bit more than I was expecting but having a fair bit done so will go with that.

Sussex coachwork did the drivers side on my cube after a muppet hit the door. They did a great job and matched the pearl white incredibly well. Had some interesting stuff while I was there.
