I've got a set of 14" Enkei alloys that could do with a freshen up, I can get them chemically dipped for £150 and probably fully refurbished for ~£350.
What DIY solutions are there, I've had a set of alloys shot-blasted in the past then rattle canned them but that might be too harsh for these. Any recommendations for paint stripper, I'm guessing the modern nitromors stuff is pretty ineffectual?
Thanks, Mark

If there is no damage to sort out you can try sanding, primer, colour and clear.
This is what I'm going to do. Materials are about £60. If they look poop I'll pay a competent person to do them.

Look at Tamworth powder coating , very well regarded in the BMW world and not a bad price

If your wanting to get the paint off them there no better option than getting them dipped. Even if you had them shot blasted they will dip them first to get the paint off.
