I always have that thought in the back of my head when people criticise "stance" cars for being a) impractical b) not improving performance and c) just a trend. Well yes of course, it has always been thus. Either it is your bag, or it isn't.

Love the "V4" on the rear axle hairpins. V4 is an odd choice, but guess if it's a 60s or 70s build and the guy had a Corsair or transit kicking about it made sense

Interesting that the yellow mini has a back axle from a rear wheel drive car. But it’s still running the original transverse motor up front. I can only imagine they did it like that so they can jack the back up?

I can only imagine they did it like that so they can jack the back up? literally none of what has been done here "makes sense". I guess we don't try and understand it, we just go along with it....

Built by Neil and Andy Fenn. They were members of Welland Valley Roadsters (my club as well) back in the 80's. Nice guys, I last saw them at a breakfast meet in Peterborough about five years ago.

I bet all those trophies will never fit inside the cars, so they're very impractical indeed. Not for me (wrong V4 engine ), but cool stuff nonetheless.
