The £150 is just a nominal value to avoid someone picking it up and weighing it in.
For sale is my first 9000 that's been in my family for over 20 years. I thought I'd give it a week or two on a few sites to see if anyone wants to save it, which I know is a long shot. This was my daily up to 2015 when I decided to take it off the road to fix some rust around the rear end and replace a front wing after someone drove into it. The project never really got going, life got in the way and the canvas garage around it disintegrated in a storm. To be honest I kept hold of it because I didn't want to admit defeat and the car means a lot to me, but I now need to face facts and move it on one way or the other.
It's a MY1994 in rare Platana Grey, so a reasonably early CSE, I have two box files of receipts and history. Originally a 2.0LPT but the engine has been removed and is not included, as has the interior apart from the dash and the carpet, and the front wings. The bumpers are long gone but I can provide a full Aero kit in blue for a little extra. The welding needed is: rear end of both sills, inner rear quarters, driver's side rear arch and various underbody bits like the rear of the 'chassis rails/box sections'. The windscreen surround is pretty much perfect and in many ways it's better than my other 9000 I'm keeping. This is obviously missing several bits that will need sourcing, although I'm happy to throw in anything I find that I don't want or need for my other. The hatch is needed for my other so will be replaced with a black one with rusty seams, and they same might be true for two of the doors.
It's currently not rolling but the front suspension is back together on an old set of Bilstein B4s and Eibachs. I could probably stick just enough of the rear back together to get it rolling but from what I remember it has a few seized/sheared fixings. I also don't have any wheels for it so between us we'd have to source a set.
I appreciate it's not the most appealing proposition but hopefully someone might want a slighty rough but reasonably solid project for a challenge, or perhaps some wacky widebody track car or RWD conversion.
Here is my project thread from years ago if anyone is interested
