I've been watching a few YouTube bloggers , hubnut, furious driving ect and got me.thinking....
If you had the money what would your dream collection consist of?
I'm not talking about massive luxury cars like porche and ferrari but the attainable cars that you have always wanted but never got.
Mines would be mostly vws but there would also be a few old 80s ford's and 90s cars I grew up with but could never afford.
To start with , I always wanted a Rover 420 gsi touring , mk1 fiesta ghia, mk4 cortina crusader
Whats in your dream retro garage??

A early De Tomasa Pantera and a Group A spec Clio Williams would be enough for me I think.

My list would include some or all of the following, Consul 315 4 door saloon (IMO the coolest looking English Ford ever made) MX32 Cressida like Varelse has (previously owned an RX30 which was a lovely car but horrendously underpowered) ADO16 and/or Allegro ZG Fairlane Fifth Generation F100
Also quite keen on the following, Series One LandRover Early six cylinder Mustang convertible (cos everyone wants the V8s and I'm different) '20s Studebaker Big Six (purely because my Grandfather had one a very long time ago)

P6B P5B Coupe Merc W108 Volvo 242 GT
I could technically afford all of those, and they'd all easily fit in the back garden. I suspect my wife wouldn't be happy though.
And I'd never have time to drive them.
And I should probably fix my W123 first.

I'm not doing too badly so far with my XJ40, T2000, Spitfire 6, Alfa 75 and Fiat X1/9 so I can't really complain.
If I had much more space, money and time I'd probably trade the 75 for an Alfetta saloon with a V6, add a SWB Biturbo or 430, an SD1, a Beta Coupe (probably a Spyder converted into a mini-truck), a lifted AWD MGB, and an electric CX.
Some serious stars are going to need to align for that stuff though!

Wouldn't say no to an original MGB GT V8, Mini Cooper S (either 1960s classic or first generation MINI R53) or 1980s Porsche 911SC.

I kinda dream small, so I've pretty much had most of my dream cars. That being said, my dreams change and evolve over time, and theres still a few that I've wanted forever. So currently my dream car garage would hold... Chrysler Neon. Renault Mk1 Espace. Hyundai pony Pick up. Fiat Mk2 Punto. Alfa Romeo 164

80’s AMG(s) 80’s/90’s Alpina(s)
Pretty much all halo cars and tuners. I’m mid-40’s so the cars from the 80/90’s are my kryptonite.

I've got 8 cars already and that's excessive really. To own more I'd want to either not have a job, or someone to maintain them... That said, dream list would be (on top of existing vehicles): 2cv/Dyane Something 50s/60s American (exact want changing on a daily basis). Toyota Century Original Mini (Mk1) Something 1920s/30s with more modern running gear. Lamborghini Espada if being fancy.

This is what I was looking for, we can all lust after supercars but in reality I know I would be too scared to drive them. What I really want in my dream garage are cars that I could afford but all at once 🙂

If pressed to pick three (practical, silly and a bike) :
E28 BMW M5 Ferrari F40 Honda VFR400 NC30
If space was no issue, I'd add these for starters:
E21 BMW 323i Mk2 Escort RS2000 Rover P6 3500S Audi Quattro S1
I'd need a warehouse, honestly.
