For some reason the old army advert with the truck that had gone through the bridge popped into my head this morning, if you remember it, I think it was a Tata with the rear wheels on a river bed and the fronts still on the remains of the road.
The strapline went something like 'Could you recover this?'
Can't find the ad now, but does anyone remember it, and just how would you go about a bush-style recovery?
My thinking is along the lines of rocking stones similar to how Stonehenge was built.
