Hello,
In my alfa giulia i use a mix of different parts for the braking system.
I have BMW E36 front callipers, golf mk4 rear callipers and a VW golf MK2 brakebooster and MC. In the past this worked perfect.
Back then i used a Volvo electric vacuumpump with sensor since i had no mechanical vacuumpump on the engine. Now i've fitted another engine and that has a mechanical vacuumpump fitted on the head. So i ditched the electric pump and sensor and coupled the booster direct to the vacuumpump on the engine.
Now it's almost like the booster activates the brakes by itself.. sometimes it drags the brakes a bit. Pedal also feels a bit strange/light.
Could the vacuum be to strong for my booster?
