I have just been offered a car similar to this. All i know at the moment is that it is a W123 shape 280ce mercedes from 1986 (C reg). Its the coupe model and i believe it is finished in a gold colour.
Used as a daily for many years and stored on the road - it sounds like it might have seen better days, but then the seller is only asking for £4k.

How much are these worth? Any common points to watch for?
I had one for a week back in the early 2000s. I didn't have anywhere to store it and couldn't afford to tax or insure and the Police came knocking. The wife panicked and sold the car for £150. Could be me second chance to add one to the growing fleet!
