Hi Iv a Salisbury 4h axel [think thats the model on a scimitar 3.0 ] that now iv replaced a noisy wheel bearing I can hear whining on over run no noise on power is this going to be a problem and or get noise ? or could a oil change sort it ?

Id start with an oil change and see what falls out when you drain the old stuff
Had axles whine for thousands of miles before without issue, one was so bad you couldn’t hear the radio! Car rusted away before it broke

My TR7V8 has whined for 20 years / 100,000 miles, had to take the back cover off recently because it rusted through, gears look perfect still though.
Many axles even whine from new, unless any bits come out with the oil or it starts to get worse I wouldn't worry.

4HA's are normally very quiet if set up properly. they should have very little backlash (4thou approx) but will need rear cover off to measure. Only way to check diff bearings is to strip.
oil usually goes black very quickly when problems occur so as said above, change, check and observe.
