Trying to find the right front tyres for Woody at the moment so I can set the ride height, trouble is every 235/75 or indeed 70 tyre I can find seems to be for an SUV or 4x4 with the 'wrong' tread pattern. There are a few white wall versions I have found but. a) don't want a whitewall b) don't want to spend £240 a corner... Any suggestions as my googlefoo is letting me down badly. P.

I had the same problem with a 235/65 16 - most that size seem to be van/suv/4x4 tyres and I wanted W rated in a road orientated tread pattern What speed rating? www.mytyres.co.ukHave 55 different tyres for that size some of them seem road orientated

Not the same size but I put some Goodride cheapies on my Delica and couldn't be happier. They do the size you need, they're a road type tread and perform really well. Much better than the BFGs that were on it before.

I added 235/60 16’s to the S10
Could it be there is something in the Avon catalogue.

This is why I like this forum. Great advice gentlemen. For a quick squint the Nankang looks like the right shout. 130mph speed rating and 1030 kg load rating plus for £70 per corner is the right price to experiment with. In time I can see myself going for an 18” wheel for Woody - I have something specific in mind - but to alleviate scope creep he will be staying on 15’s in the foreseeable. Plus i still need to get that gearbox.... Thanks again, will be waiting for payday and making a purchase... Onwards! P.
