One day I'll get this whole motor museums database/thing sorted out,.. but in the mean time...
Anyone know of any motor museums in the midlands?? I though Baulieu was... but I'm a geographical idiot.

Bubble Car Museum between Newark and Sleaford - it's brilliant. Baz and I saw these and many others: I'll copy some more across from the rather large thread I did on autoshite into a new post.

Erm, not strictly Midlands but there's an ace one a few miles from Chester which is reasonably easy to get to from J16 of the M6. It's ina very picture-esque village called Mouldsworth, near Chester.

anyone remember the one in bridgenorth? used to have some nice classic car show/autojumbles there aswell. I remember it,The Bridgenorth Motor Museum, how do they think of the names? It used to be home to the Napier-Railton which now lives at Brooklands and even had a spare W12 engine on display but back then the poor car was all dull and lifeless,it looks much better now that it's all shiny ally. ;D The museum closed down after the owner was caught selling off the cars which were only on loan from their owners, naughty man. A pity though because it was a good venue for a small car show and the drive there was always worth while.
