I have for sale a an engine i have had built, it has a fair bit of spec so...
volvo B230A engine, has had new rings, bearings , all rebuilt. Cometic 0.65mm head gasket, 531 head ive ported myself and had nearly 2mm skimmed from it. Valves have been recut etc, solid lifters with a classic swede T5 300 deg camshaft. Uprated valve springs and vernier pulley and pinto cam belt. It has volvo alti, but bmw e36 ps pump, and is on a flat belt not a V belt. has bmw m54 front pulley with 60-2 pulley on it. Exhaust manifold is the cast one ported, and the inlet is a lh2.4. Has bigger injectors, i cant remember exactly what they are but i think they are volvo 850 ones. Has bmw e36 engine mounts.
flywheel has need adapted to take a is200 clutch which has done probably about 5-600 miles. Comes with an is200 6 speed that has been adapted for the volvo engine, not with a plate but its had bosses welded into it, very strong. for fitting in the e36 you need to move your stick hole back about 1"
Its now in the car running, its on microsquirt, but it will not come with the ecu, i need that, but ills nip my loom off and you can wire back onto it if you want to , or put it on a carb and a dizzy you can get from laurence at ashley classics in manchester... it did 166 bhp ill link the print out tomorrow.
so for the e36, you could run it as is, or you could put a standard head gasket on it, then put a turbo on it, and itll be mint for drifting with massive power cheep!
for a volvo, would not take much to get it in the hole again!
