For sure. I don't do anywhere near as much aimless driving as I did in my teens but I do quite enjoy a good road trip with the right company. Sometimes even on my own if I'm in the right mood, just wagon timing it with the radio cranking out old tunes loud as a loud thing.

Very much so, just me, some 90's rave and the long route to wherever I'm going.

Depends what I'm driving. I'm always finding reasons to go out in my Beetle and 924, preferably on my own. If I'm in a mood I always come back smiling.

Yep which is why every year we holiday abroad and I drive there and don’t normally take the most direct route so that I can take in places of interest

Another vote for yes, I can have fun driving anything!
What I don't like anymore, and haven't for quite some time, is driving anywhere in this country and certainly not anywhere in southern England. In fact, I'd say I utterly detest it. Overcrowded roads, appalling road surfaces, aggressive driving habits, cameras all over the place, ridiculous speed limits and shamefully overtaxed fuel to name but a few of the reasons.
Shame, as there are some lovely places to go and great roads to drive but, like so many things, it's ruined by the general public and a total lack of maintenance. It's not been so bad over the last 6 months due to the reduced levels of traffic but over the last few weeks there's been a noticeable increase toward previous traffic levels.
Rush hour is now 4-4:30pm though, oddly.

I’ve done about 50 miles over the last 2 days in my ford galaxie.... absolutely no reason to be out in it, other than terrorising the streets.

I've really lost enthusiasm for it in the last few years. Partly due to traffic and the state of the roads, and partly due to the unfortunate demise of my S-Type. The road being full of cretins in far too much of a hurry also grates.
I have a plan though. This will involve something with no roof for me and my wife to enjoy on sunny Sundays.

I used to really like it, and any chance I got id be flying around the a5 or a470 around Betws y Coed, or Bangor as they're 20 mins away. Then I got a job delivering parcels and that whole section of Snowdonia became my route, and when you spend all day driving you don't tend to feel like doing it after work, maybe the odd weekend we'll go for a run but nowhere near as often as I used to.

Yes, still love driving despite doing it all day everyday. Even more so in France. Last time we were there we flew into Toulouse and had a Citroen C1 open air as a hire car, then proceeded to put nearly a 1000km's on it if 5 days including a trip to the Millau Viaduct and Andorra When we fist got married we drove the coastline of the South East in about 4 or 5 chunks (Dartford to Southampton). Just set off on a Friday or Saturday afternoon/evening and drove and drove and kept the sea as close as possible. Generally speaking i will do a fair chunk of driving on any holiday, normally to avoid motorways and major roads, detouring to things that intrigue me on the map (steep hills, look out points, etc) (yes still use a map book, the wife is quite god at reading it these days) has lead us to some interesting situations and roads that are barely passable in the Mondeo let alone meeting other traffic. In my 20's I spent almost every Friday evening driving my AX GTi through the lanes of the North Downs/Pilgrims Way or further into Kent. Sooooo much fun in a bucket seat/harness/rollcaged hot hatch

I still go out driving a lot. It's great for when I actually 'need' to drive as if there are any issues I can usually get round them easy enough. Also great for learning where is visible safe overtaking spots. Quite a few near me that on the face of it look like blind corners or similar but actually aren't if you know where to look on approach.

The only time I enjoy driving is when I'm out in the middle of nowhere. I live on the edge of town and theres miles and miles of countryside to enjoy, and I always enjoy it when ever I use it, even if my chosen carriage is a modern. I rarely see a bad road out there, or bad driving, and those 2 things are exactly what turn me off driving in a built up area. For the last couple of years ive seen far too many people simply driving with no respect for other road users, in a whole manner of ways. And the condition of the roads is chronic.

I do enjoy driving. Not 100% of the time but certainly for most of it. I never used to enjoy being a passenger but with time, I've come to see the benefits. For me, alot of journeys, even the aimless ones, are an event .

I realised I still enjoyed driving when I started using the 20 year old Corsa.
Though the new vans I had were far superior in almost every respect, they felt a little sterile. Somehow, maybe for the jeopardy of breaking down or something, but I find older stuff more involving and sometimes enjoy just driving for fun again even if it’s a bit more tiring (the Astra is much harder work sat in traffic though)
Drove Ella’s Corsa home from Bangor on Sunday and though it’s slow, underpowered, wobbly etc. I really enjoyed the A5 all the way to the dreaded M6

Yes, I still do enjoy it. The problem is getting to somewhere I can enjoy it. Strangely, I seem to live in a little blue dot surrounded by grey. Anywhere in that grey bit spends it's life totally (and I mean totally) gridlocked whereas anywhere green is virtually empty. So green is where you want to be, but first you've got to get through the grey. Early Sunday morning is fine for making a bid for freedom, but you still have to come back again into the grey and that kinda takes the edge off what may have been a very pleasant run out. Hoping to move out of Manila next year (depending on the Girls and their education) to somewhere a bit quieter, so maybe the green bit will be more on my doorstep and I can enjoy my driving again!

I know it's not retro but it is 14 years old and they don't make them anymore. Just going to Tesco was fun last night.
