Hello all, just read about this forum in the latest copy of Performance VW and was amazed to find how advanced the scene is. I've been blown away by some of the cars I've seen, having been absorbed in skateboarding and surfing for the past god knows how many years it's passed me by somehow.
Anyway, past rides of mine include a VW Beetle, a W123 230te, an E30 Touring, and a couple of early Corollas and Celicas.
My current rides are a W124 230te and a 1978 RX-7 Savanna.
My question is...where can I find a good body shop in South Wales? I'd like to prep both cars to a more presentable standard in time for next summer's show!
Hope you'll be kind ;-)
Jim

Welcome and (you'll hear this a lot) PICS! I can't help you on the bodyshop front, I'm afraid but there are a few 'locals' who should be able to. *n

Top grammar tips! Bought = purchased. Brought = relocated Lose = misplace/opposite of win. Loose = your mum

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Welcome! I was well impressed with the write up that PVW did on the RR show. In fact I was impressed with the whole mag! As above... pics of your rides! ;D

Welcome aboard James!
I can't help you on the Welsh bodyshop search (that is to say I'd be using the same Google as you!), but I'll back up the pic request! Is your W124 modified?

Nothing is modified. The W124 was a 1991 minter until the local kids put dents in it and ripped off the star. Still got full history and is a lovely drive...and I definitely think some mods could be on the cards. Porsche alloys would look sweet IMHO.
