1999 MX5, UK Spec
Brilliant little fun car, in a good condition for the year.
Good points:
Low miles for an mx, only 79k
Beautiful colour with a nice fleck in the paint (its dragon/racing green)
Runs like a machine, mechanically flawless!
Torsen limited slip differential
Roof works wonderfully with ease
Windows are good with an awesome aftermarket toggle switch
Car has the wooden Nardi interior (wulnut) Seats & door cards are beige, with black dash & wulnut finishing.
Bad points:
Rear quater sills have surface rust - this has been cleaned off and undersealed to prevent reoccurrance. There is bubbling on passenger rear arch though.
Roof has had a small hole repair (vinyl roof with glass rear window) roof does not leak at all
Drivers seat does have a hole in the bolster
Small patch of lacquer peel on the passenger door, just behind the wing mirror.
It is a brilliant little car, in lovely condition in the most beautiful colour. The car is fantastic overall for its age with minimal rust issues, a lot less than most MK2 mx5s which have suffered with the old rot!
Photos are avaliable upon request (I always have issues uploading) so please drop me a message for photos or any questions you might have.
