I thought you'd binned it when I saw the thread title.
Glad to see it's raising a smirk...Still rockin' the red braces and filofax?

Top grammar tips! Bought = purchased. Brought = relocated Lose = misplace/opposite of win. Loose = your mum

It's been running rough since before RR07, and it's finally been diagnosed and fixed.... the metering head was goosed.... it's like a totally different car! Very happy... Although it's slated to be moved on soon in the RK Revolving Door of car ownership... too many cars I need to own, not enough money or space to have them all at once... 911 is one box ticked... and I WILL have another... but I need a Ur-quattro next!

I wasn't praising it. a 911 will go sideways very easily on a greasy road, rainking didn't say he was doing it deliberately. However, if the incident was induced then it was nothing short of wreckless. If someone comes along boasting about driving like a complete vagina, then they should expect hostility.

surely intending to go sideways is safer than it happening by accident?
personally theres nothing I like doing more than skidding into other peoples cars in my banded steel'd, cut spring'd rat look drift car.

Congrats! glad you had fun thank you. its not an xr2 btw, I wish it was though ;D and daveyboy, I'm not trying to make myself popular, and I wasnt boasting about nearly spinning whilst exiting a roundabout, I merely did the same as mr rainking, basically warn everyone out there that its easily done, now dash off edit:yes i am in a bad mood cos iv just put wheels on the fez and one has revealed a very rusty arch, and destroyed it

Is that going to be flashed every time someone says they have been for a bit of a blast?

Bloody hell...
this all got a bit needles didn't it!
I wasn't indicating that I did it deliberately at all, but it happened and it was actually *shock horror* quite fun...
it happened on a little roundabout on the buckingham ring road, I was doing about 15 mph... there was one other car in sight.....
I'm not a reckless driver, far from it.
that is all.

I'm sure I speak for 99% of people in saying that when we do go for a blast we do it safely - the flashed up thread was written by someone who blatently owned up to driving like a berk on the wrong side of the road. It's a fairly moving account but it doesn't need to dampen every thread of this nature as the James says....
