Even though this isn't really a show as such, for a few years now I've taken the NSRA Northern Swapmeet, held at Magna is Sheffield, as a bookend to my show season.
There's always a great showing of stuff in the carpark, lots of metal getting it's last run out before being tucked away for the winter.
Which is lucky as due to time constraints that was far as I got.
Junkyard dog of a Buick
Standard size comparison shot. There is more of these in here
Super clean Chevy C20 and late model Lincoln Lo-Lo
Raked '65 Falcon
Raked '64 D100
stealthstylz proving once again how he's a brave pioneer, this time at the forefront of the up and coming post-apocalypse-max-power-derv-hatch scene.
I can't help but take a picture or two when presented with such a lovely, late, 245.
Another Buick, this time a beautiful '67 LeSabre Custom. I'd take this as is.
Super tidy NA MX5
I love the paint on this Dodge Tradesman.
More Fords, this time longbeds seperated by a single year.
'64 Dodge 330
A pair of Plymouths, the Twister is spotless.
Love this F100 delivery.
I've got a hankering for a camper and old Transit like this is more appealing than most.
More sweet yellow Falcon
Vivid 90s vibe Pop' and clean hotrod.
'68 Barracuda
Patina'd F100
Yet more Ford pickups, both gorgeous.
Tidy Minor 1000
Corvette brakes hiding behind the rims of this '64 Chevy II
Different flavours of pickup
Pretty cool kit-van made by Carlton
Arrow shape Hillman Hunter on snazzy wheels
SE5 Scimitar
The Dez Pissrat
The graphics on this aren't my bag but it's cool nonetheless
Surprisingly, the only Charger I saw that morning
Volksrods never fail to raise a smile.
Shoebox Ford
Fresh R32 Skyline GTR mixing it up
'64 ElCamino
Mk4 Escorts hanging out together
Stunning Chevrolet Stepside
Another purposeful looking truck, a Ford again.
I'd rock around in one of these things for a laugh.
Auburn 851 Supercharged replica built on an '80s GMC truck frame.
'50s Jeep
'48 Chevy pickup
Orange R35 looking for a space
Large, American, mid century convertibles. From the '49 Buick on the right GM's design language was almost unrecognizable by '59 when the Cadillac on the left was built.
'66 Dodge Coronet '440' confusingly ordered with a 383.
Convincing Jago '32 hotrod in the obligatory curse word yellow.
Small block powered Pop.
'73 Mustang
'Trad' '32 Roadster
Mint '57 Chevy stepside
More of the purposeful Ford pickup
and yet more Chevy content
The place has quite a unique vibe, a real cross over of scenes
Had to revisit the Hillman once the sun got on it.
The other end of the '73 Mustang
If ever there was an stereotypical icon of automotive Americana, it would be a toss-up between this and a '59 Cadillac
Barracuda sounded as hard as it looks
That coupe again
The morrisoxide wagon
I took these purely because it literally has kevfromwales written all over it
Custom Fiesta. I don't know where this is going but I like it.
Taildragger
Honkin' great '53 Oldsmobile
A couple of group shots
This Dodge looks like it should be parked down a sidestreet in San Fransico or something
The graphics really make this Ford
That Carbodies pickup. Not sure what it's based on but stuff like this always looks wild when seen in context trundling up the M1.
And that's it. Another year of shows was over and done with.
