SWMBO has a 2013 Mini Cooper - Old English White (Pepper White) with a black top. It currently has 16" rims (IIRC).
Two rims are sufficiently bent from daily use that my mechanic is recommending new rims. The current plan is that later this month we will take the snow tires off, leave them on the existing rims and buy new ones for the summer tires.
The summer tires are brand new (one season old) so I will be sticking with 16" rims.
I am looking for sensible suggestions and ideas. In particular I wonder if anyone has ever put old school hub caps on a new mini? the new Fiat and the New (new) beetle look really sharp with what are apparently steelies with hubcaps but to my knowledge I have never seen this treatment on a new mini.
any thoughts? pics are most welcome.
thanks all!
