Due to a change in circumstances the time has come to sell my brick.
165,000 Miles
£SOLD
exterior is tatty AF which is why I bought it to skid, needs very little to become a skid sled, or perfect donor. Plenty of spares included.
What I’ve done:
Replaced Radiator with salvage
Air con delete
EGR delete
940 rear axle/fuel tank conversion
H&R hubcentric spacers on rear to correct 940/960 track discrepancy
Welded diff
Chopped springs with 940 front springs
Hybrid propshaft (960 auto front slider with 940 rear)
Trailer electrics were bodged and causing earth issues so deleted
Peugeot expert 17” steelies
Exhaust was bodged when I got it so have replaced with some straight pipe off midbox
Custom Adjustable panhard rod with poly bushes
Was a 2.5ltr (B6254) is now 3.0ltr b6304
New sachs clutch
New continental cambelt
2.9 ECU
Did a few thousand miles to Scotland and back and didn’t miss a beat and then it has remained unused since.
Mechanical:
B6304 and m90 with a welder! Some propshaft noise but its skid ready.
Clutch has less than 2000 miles on it
pretty good all round. 165K on clock
Electrical:
electric seats: working
sunroof: Working (gutters need to be cleared again)
Seat heaters: Passenger side working
electric mirrors: working and heated
rear demist: not working, bodged before I got the car
Rear wiper: Disconnected earth issue
Stereo: Standard SC801 sounds great even by todays standards (alpine made the factory audio back then)
Fuel gauge: Reads in reverse. Hybrid 940/960 in tank sender/pump unit
Interior:
Grey
slightly tatty
Missing passenger sunvisor – including a non matching replacement with car
Exterior:
Present is optimistic
Previous owner has used a touch up stick colour (mis)matched to Halfords quality
Also parked by braille by a previous owner
Previous exhaust bodge has melted rear bumper a bit
Buy a B6304 and M90 together and get a free car!

Basically I would keep it and hope to get around to the todo list on it if I could, but I need rid, and don’t want to see a whiteblock and M90 go over the pearly weighbridge.
