Slight hijack, but does anyone know if you can get these in 3" (75mm) versions?

I use the my Powerfile a lot. Went threw a few Black and Deckers ones and then bought a Makita which is more or less indestrutable. I quess it is worth the high price. As i grind near the bearing on the end of the arm, these bearings wear out but these can be bought for a few Euros and easy to replace. The fixture of the arm is much better then on the B&K The sanding belts for the Makita share the same length as some wide sanding belts so i buy the wide one and cut these with a scissor into 8 samll belts and then these cost Euro 0,25 a piece. Have been looking for wide Mirka belt but hav not found these. Do not buy the cheapest belts for cutting into small belts as these shear easily where these have been glued together. I now found a brand which never shears. Peter

I run one of these The advantages over the electric ones being that they are small & compact and can access most areas - however you need good compressor / air source - you need to keep the air motor well lubricated too - they tend to self destruct / seize up after a few years but they are a sub £30 purchase - it runs 10mm x 330mm belts - you get what you pay for with abrasives I thought that the best belts were Mirka until yesterday when I used a couple of 3M cubitron belts - these are outstanding if you can find them at the right price A good online retailer of abrasive products and tools is listed below - they list various makes on a drop down menu - I recently placed a large order with them when I found 3M abrasives / flapwheels / belts etc at half the price I purchase elsewhere + Postage is free over £20 spend www.zoro.co.uk/

I've ordered that sander as well. I had had an Aldi version that was tortourous to use as belts needed either adjusting or replacing all the time I was using it.
