Having had to answer this question many times over the years and to be fair, not really wanting for much now that I'm getting on a bit! Anyhoo, as running two thirsty children namely Miss LS400 and Master F100, from now on the my answer to the above will be a gift card for petrol . Now this may sound weird but as I love my hobby and I don't want any fluffy dice from anyone, fuel to enjoy in my children is the answer!
Now to test this at Christmas

I'm just sat here watching the YouTube live stream from Santa Pod and asking myself the same question. I don't really need anything. Maybe tickets for a show? What I'd really like is someone to buy my bloody house! Been dicked about by someone with no intention of buying and lost a fortnight of viewings so it feels like my entire life is on hold until we get to move. Then I get a home workshop and a six car drive, so well worth it!

Having just packed for holiday and sorted which tee shirts to take, if I don’t answer that question I get VW stuff mostly (it’s ok, I don’t mind and never buy clothes for myself so it’s stuff I’ll wear... but was surprised I had 3 tee shirts with a Haynes manual transporter on the front almost the same, I thought I only had 1 ) And can only imagine your pain neildavies we moved here 22 years ago, and that was a huge pain... a friend was explaining that he couldn’t make an offer on his house until he had an offer on his, and was expecting 4-5 months to complete (think I’ll stay here!)

I'd like the gift of time - a whole week dedicated to me in my workshop, working on my car. No interruptions, no distractions, lunches provided so I don't have to down tools and go and get something to eat, well stocked with tea and biscuits... bliss!

I'm 50 this year and I don't need anything either, really. So I've asked for money so that I can try experiences, for example I want to do a rally course, go to Oviedo in Spain and watch the football club that I have some shares in, try indoor skydiving, finally do a music festival, and maybe the TT or Le Mans if there's enough left.

Whether you believe you can, or you cannot, you're probably right.

Erm, apex engineered's whole 280z catalogue. In all seriousness I have a savings jar labelled for my car and will attempt to buy as much as I can on my own, I have stated that should she wish to surprise me, buy me something from them using my money to top off the cost of the gift, I don't think she'll do it though. I don't want a cheap RC car or t shirt, I've got those already, save up and get me something I want damnit.

Now that sounds like the kind of present I'd like to get.

I'd like a peaceful relaxing day at home with no yelling and screaming. That's my stock answer but I don't often get it.

I wish that my relatives could all take a vacation on some far away place where I won't see them or hear them on that day. For some reason they have a hard time accepting that my opinion is that birthday parties stops being fun when you turn 11 or something like that, and are constantly nagging because I refuse to celebrate and don't want any gifts.
