As per my Bentley Eight thread, here is my Jaguar XK8 for sale.
This is one of the earlier XK8 Coupes:

I've always wanted one of these and now I have ticked off the box. Too many other cars has bought me to the realisation that I am not going to be able to sort the bodywork out anytime soon, so I am therefore selling it to free up funds and space.
Again, this is not a show winner, but a perfectly usable daily driver classic coupe.
4.0 V8 / 'AJV8' / 290 BHP / 5 Speed Automatic
Starts first time. No overheating. Idles in the correct manner. Slight weep of oil from the rocker cover gaskets.
Gearbox changes fine and the car pulls nicely in every gear. With just under 300 bhp, it can shift when needed!
Suspension is good, with no untoward knocks or bangs. Brakes are fine, with no shuddering or shaking.
Has a stainless steel exhaust fitted, which brings out the best of the usually-muted Jaguar V8. Has a nice rumble, but nothing too loud.
Matching Pirelli Assimetrico tyres all round, in the correct 245/50/17 fitment. These are getting old, but still have plenty of tread.
The 17" 'Revolver' alloy wheels are in good condition and clean up very well.
Interior is actually in very good condition, with no rips, tears, or major marks. It's all in one piece and well put-together. The cabin is a really nice place to sit and feels very classy.
Bodywork is what lets this down. The bonnet and roof paint has gone flat. Rear arches have some corrosion - not the worst I have seen, and you can't put your finger through them. OSR quarter panel has some damage with rust. Marks, blemishes and stone chips as to be expected. It cleans up well as per the photos, and some thorough detailing might bring back the shine. But ultimately, this will need paintwork correction to bring it to its former best.
Having said that, it's cheap, it's running, the interior is lovely, it has low mileage and it is a soon-to-be classic. Just look at how much XJS coupes are commanding. E-Types are on another planet!
It appears to have been maintained well mechanically - last service stamp was in mid-2018.
Quite a few bills and receipts with it. 2 x Keys. V5 Logbook in my name.
