Yup, on a Monday, not even a bank holiday. I went there straight from work, got there at about 5.45 and the carpark was already stuffed. I had a go at counting them but it was difficult, they were scattered everywhere and as soon as I started counting, another one turned up. I heared that 58 were counted, but I'm not sure if that was just Farinas, or the other bits and bobs included. There was some very nice bits and bobs. Tasty Anglia With an engine. Cool as penguin bits Zephyr Mk1 Granada Immaculate Austin 3 litre But for me it wasnt just about the cars. It was also the people. I saw people that I havnt seen for years, some were completly out of context, people who remember my dad for a variety of reasons, people who I consider legends consider him a legend. All those things I remember him for were being relayed back to me by various people. It all got a bit overwhelming to be honest. Last night, for me, was the nuts. I cant work out how to put a link to another thread on here, but my thread 'why I like what I like' might help put that into some sort of context Anyway, back to the beef. A Princess Estate. A real one Snap! And that was part 3

Brilliant!!! I always wanted a black 6/110 with blood red interior with picnic tables in the back. These cars can fly, easily capable of keeping up with and going past stuff in the outside lanes of motorways. Good to see that not everything went round the oval. God, we made some GREAT cars, didn't we!

Wow! I always remember a MkII Westminster that used to live round the corner from me in Clacton in the 70s and 80s. It was battleship grey (mostly brush-painted it looked) and seemed to scrape its way through the MOT each year whilst looking more and more decrepit every year.
So nice to see so many in near perfect condition. Truly nice vehicles. I know it's probably seen as heresy nowadays, but I always fancied dropping a BMW big 6 into one.
