The Delica has wishbone bolts that also adjust the camber, so I need them not to seize! So, when I fit new bushes and bolts, which lube should I use, Copperslip, grease or Vaseline?

And after thinking about it in the shower, grease is the answer. Copperslip isn't really a lubricant and Vaseline isn't strong enough for my application.

The bolts don’t need lubrication on wishbone bushes. They just require something to prevent seizure so copper grease is fine. If the bush is moving about the bolt then the bolt isn’t tight enough or something is wrong, assuming the bushes are a bonded rubber OE type. |

I agree, you want anti seize, not necessarily lube. Lubricating grease is more meant for things that have to slide in service rather than things that have to be not stuck on the rare occasion that you move them.
I think grease would do it, but something designed to prevent seizure is more correct, copper grease or any other anti seize product.

While mine don't control camber and that does add a reason not to, I tend to undo my upper wishbone bolts periodically, make sure they will move through the bushes and subframe a little bit, then tighten them up again. The upper bolt in Viva / Magnum / Firenza suspension is about 200mm long, and is notorious for rusting into place. Same for any bolt that runs through a steel sleeve, really - even the relatively short rear suspension bushes have a sleeve around 40mm long, and it's enough to be a pain if it rusts solid.

Copper grease is poor in my experience. You also need to think about what materials it's being used with. Instead I've moved to this ceramic stuff. Goes on anything, high temperature and so far seems to have very little down sides. I have only been using it for a year so far though.  |

Need to look into them myself really. |
