Jonsey Junior and myself went here today. Furthest I've ever driven the rally car in 22 years ownership, over 90 miles round trip. As ever, mine first .
My younger brother's HS Chevette
Elder brother's Gilbern Invader with new wider wheels
A few more Gilberns
A very nice 131 Abarth replica all the way from Ireland sporting a twin cam
This had a twin cam fitted too
And this had two sets of twin cams
This had another twin cam. Would love one of these for my Cortina
As well as a cheeseburger, chips, ice cream and tea, Jonsey Junior the younger also needed an ammo box from the autojumble. The military guys spotted this and let him have a photo
Nice old commercials
A R75 pickup
And a Wood &Picket mini Clublman
And lots lots more
Another Gilbern
Not to keen on the green Landy
The owner of this Cortina 16GT was kind enough to let me take some photos of his engine bay. It the same year as mine so will help me put it back together.
And that was pretty much it. There was a lot less cars than last year apparently as the rain was horizontal when we go there. My brothers gazebo was tied to the back bumper of my Escort and it still managed to blow and land o the cars roof. No damage done, well to the car anyway, the gazebo is mangled.
