Hi, I'm after a set of plates made up for my mates 100e. He wants the ones that are a black back plate, with the screw on raised lettering.
Anyone know of somewhere local to me (Bristol) that could help?
Thanks
Matt

Thanks Roach, I was going to call them tomorrow, as they didn't manage to get back to me last week via email. Just thinking a local place may be better as could do with them before next weekend, they are for my mates birthday. Ill give them a call as you recommend them!
Cheers

Try the Number Plate Centre in Birmingham. They are reasonable on price, can deliver quickly, and their plates are of a very good quality. I do wonder if they supply to some of the big boys TBH! numberplatecentre.comThey're the wrong colour, but here's a set of rivetted plates he made for the Stag. They're still on the car today : I need a set for my Merc and I may end up going there myself

I’d call them. There are different versions of the proud letter plates and the cast items will always be more.
I paid less than £50 from them a few years ago.
Where did they give you that price? They don’t have an online shop and they’re not open on weekends...

Probably because they don't change that much. IIRC Framptons do however, and then some. I ordered a set from NPC today for my Merc (not many places do a 'legal' Import plate in black and silver and square just doesn't fit the car right, as you can see in my thread). While ordering mine i asked about Riveted plates. I was quite £55 + P&P. Quite a way off the £100 . Pressed ones are around £25 IIRC, but they are much quicker to make.

Crikey, I remember getting these made up for new trucks and Vans when I was a boy at Arlington Motors in Ponder End, North London and they were about £3 made up! Mind that was nearly 40 years ago now, where did it all go.......................
