As you may have seen elsewhere I am not a very well chap and that kind of throws things into perspective.
I have had this car sitting on my parents driveway for the last 5 or so years and now realised that even if I do ever manage to get the money and time to get it back on the road, I probably won't ever have time to drive it!
This car was originally built by MysteryMachine and the Area 52 lot down in Bristol, and I bought it from him piecemeal because I wanted it so badly! Now it's time to move on. If you would like to see the original build thread look HERE
So let's break it down.
Good Points:
> Running and driving, had it started this afternoon and runs like a top. No funny noises no blue smoke nothing. Goes into gear and moves under its own power no problem
> Absolute peach of the 1.6 twin cam engine
> Plush interior, V-Spec leather seats, thick carpets and original mats with hilarious Japanenglish motif.
> Safety Devices Roll bar, a proper one made from steel
> Momo suede steering wheel and boss
> Limited Slip Diff as per V-Spec models
> Custom sleepy boi headlights and surrounds, working
> Custom front indicators in the dummy intakes
> Custom exhaust with a lovely rasp when you get onto that second cam
> Genuine Garage Vary front splitter, although this could do with some love.
> Comes with removable hard top and soft top, soft top is a bit gone
> Lowered on coilovers
> MIMS wheels with decent if old tyres
> Custom switches
> Custom door tread plates
> The roof comes off!
Bad Points
> No MOT and hasn't had one in a long time
> Brakes and brake lines will need refreshing
> Paint is not good, been living under a car cover for a good few years
> Nice oil weep from the cam cover
> Its low, its had the chassis rails scraped on the ground
> Usual dents and dings
> No service history
Have some pictures!
Look it has oil pressure and everything
I'm looking for £800 which I think is reasonable, little bit of work and you can have yourself the most fun car I ever owned.
Any questions please PM me.
Thanks!
Tom
