We noticed some shiny things in a parking lot and whipped in to check it out. All I had was my phone, and it was running low so I didn't shoot everything I geeked out about, but I saw several things I thought worthy of sharing...
Couldn't tell at first what this even was with the front flipped over, but when I saw the air-cooled jugs I was intrigued...and then I counted them...
Yep, that's two VW engines in the front of a squareback. On steamrollers, no less...
And down the row from that I noticed another flip front, this one more easily identifiable:
What I couldn't get a good shot of was the Ford small block it was showing off. Check out the Woodie in the background, too!
I've posted elsewhere about the 1970 Dodge Demon I held for a friend for a while...this one is a little more "done."
It was an eclectic show, with cars from all ages and levels of customization...I thought this one was particularly tasty, especially the paint:
I have always had a thing for the 53-56 F100s, and there were a couple of niiiiice ones there...
