I bought this recently... This would normally have me running away, but before you do, hear me out.
Price dropped to £1400, new project C43 arriving this week, could really do with the space

I had been trying to buy a C43 AMG Estate, a bit of a project, it was back and forth for weeks and weeks. As we were getting somewhere, a deal was agreed a deposit sent. Seller then changed his mind and gave me my deposit back, I was livid, but these things happen. Anyway, I was on the rebound and saw this for sale.
Only 3 previous owners (before me) a stack of history, including the rear subframe mounts being done, head gasket and the engine loom replaced amongst other bits. It had been the sellers daily driver, but he wanted something newer.
Price was good so I bought it, fast forward a few weeks and a win some big brownie points from Mrs N, so I can add to my project fund, and slightly better C43's are in my reach.
So, if you are still with me, here we go:
Hewn from granite, don't make them like this any more, million mile Merc... blah blah, you have heard all the mis-quotes before...
1995 E280 in Malachite Green (249) with Mushroom Leather (265A).
Miles are just about to turn 130,000, now showing 4 former keepers.
4 Speed auto
Lots of history and receipts.
MOT to July 2019 (N168 WUP if you want to have a look at the MOT history)
Just replaced the drivers door window regulator
New windscreen
Jacking points are good.
Inner wings have been attended to in the past
Rear subframe mounts done last year.
Rear arches are good, with no crud build up.
Front wings were replaced a few years ago, there is slight bubbling near the front indicator on one.
Lacquer going on the bonnet edge
small amount of corrosion on the infrared sensor under the boot.
Tyres, it has a couple of newer no brand on the rear , front has Dunlop, but one is getting low on tread.
Scuff on the front bumper
Still got its Tool Kit and unopened First Aid Kit
Original Blaukpunt Stereo
It's a nice presentable W124, the colour really suits the E class.
I'm into it for nearly £1600, £1400 I just want my money back take a bit of a hit for a quick easy sale.
