Just to add, it was a very good day, probably over 1000 cars there.
Very dissappointed with mr @quatermass - I drove 1,000's of miles to the event just to show him my car and he stayed in bed!!!

However thanks for going and taking some photos. My parents and my sisters family went and all had a good time. Looks like a great turn out for January 1st!

Must be ten years since I last went there and the first new years bash. Went in the herald with my mate driving there and me tuning with the laptop.
Very good day and we didn't see it all. Glad we got there early though as I've read lots had to be turned away due to unexpected numbers.
Also very happy to be parked at the bottom of the bank! We spent half an hour watching people struggling with a mixture of handbrake issues and mud induced wheelspins.

Some great cars there. Are those Ferrari’s replicas or real? If real I think the convertible is more than £95K

I cant make up my mind on the ragtop one, its for sale at £95,000 but as hard as I looked I could not tell if its genuine or not. Advert 'seemed' to be for a genuine one. I Did really like it though. The non for sale one is a genuine matching numbers one - I'd like that too

Neither of those "pretty Ferraris" were.. well, Ferarris . More likely to be from a certain Stuttgart marque, I fear. The unusual Karmann Ghia is a very rare Brazilian one. It was utter madness today, the queue to get in was about 45 minutes and they ended up just closing the gate and turning folks away. Never seen so many amazing (yet somehow delightfully everyday) cars in one place at one time. Total bleeding chaos, though. Mad Saw this ol thing by the way. Black Pop r by Nick Liassides, on Flickr Notice no-one's bothered taking a photo of my massive rusty yellow bus though *sulks* EDIT: no surprise though, i hadn't even got round half the turnout before the early birds had started leaving. Probably only ever saw about a quarter of what turned up today

As I thought; DVLA list the "California" Ferrari as a DNA 2 Fifty. Which means it started life as a BMW Z3 95k would therefore seem expensive for your mum's old hairdressers express It appears that the 275 is actually an actual Fwerrari though. Actually

Yes, someone asked the owner of the 275 what the chassis no was - he obviously did not answer! Both cars were extremely lovely - and though I'm not a Ferrari lover I would gladly have either of them

The Thames van was a definite winner - especially as it had a matching chopper :-)
