for the love of sand! my series 3 88 inch station wagon. picture is actually in parc du marquenterre which is in the somme valley, and we went in 2016 the centenary. very very humbling and eerily calm part of france

I've always liked these. Would look great with a proper off road set up Dirt Everyday did an episode with one quite recently. It's called "$3k in 3 Days to go Four-Wheeling" and is on Motor Trend on Demand. Seemed to cope quite well with what they put it through.

I always used to like the Toyota Tercel 4WD, rumour was you could bolt the A4GE twin cam engine straight in but I don't think there are any left now, not seen one in years even on here.

Taken about 5 years ago - I had a 25 mile mile commute to work and was the only one who made it in that day! More recently I had this 90, looked great, very capable but not very reliable!

Currently driving a '68 Karmann Ghia as my daily. Don't ask about previous cars - there have been way too many and I stopped counting at 160!

an unreliable land rover....surely not?!! don't think barely a laneing weekend even went by where a stream of sniggering suzukis passed by a stranded member of the "sollihul bonnets up society*" somewhere along our route!

I spotted this in the paddock at Gurston Down Hillclimb last year, I know nothing about it. its an Aktiv Fischer Snow Trac with (randomly) a land rover series 2 body and windscreen heres one in "the shining" with its real body
