	Trawling through pages and pages on the General Board it occurred to me that we didn't have a dedicated 4x4 thread, so I figured I might as well start one. So lets have a look at 4x4's, off roaders, soft roaders, chelsea tractors and so on. I'll start off with my second Range Rover...

	I feel like this is an area where vehicles in America will excel : In my eyes, the above suzuki, minus the brand stickers and bead-lock/americana style wheels would be absolutely perfect, not sure why it has a BMW badge on the grille.

	I got sick of replacing the alternator on mine, so I stick to the dry stuff now! I’m contemplating an engine swap before it rusts away!

	Father in law used to have a petrol series 3 88 Brother in law used to have a V8 110 county We used to take them to Whaddon, a local pay and play site That was a while ago now though...

	I had a Suzuki sj410 that was basically a scraper,but I got it back on the road with some homemade mods. And it was unstoppable off road. In fact it was so good that most of the time I just used 2 wheel drive to make it more interesting.

	The only 4wd vehicle I’ve ever had was identical to the one above, awesome piece of kit especially in the snow, always had a hankering for an old Landy or a Range Rover though.

	This is my UMM Alter, they were built in Portugal from a mixture of Peugeot parts and Jeep axles. The body is made from 2mm steel so it’s pretty tough. I’ve also just bought this Auverland A3, it’s made in France using Peugeot parts.
