Photos from our SIMCA and MATRA stands at the NEC over the weekend. The SIMCA Club UK stand had two 'Horizons'to celebrate 40 years of that model. One was an early Chrysler badged one (after the Peugeot takeover they were rebadged Talbot) Which is as new, never having been registered and with just 318 miles, the other, a rare in Europe Dodge Omni, the USA/Canada take on the Horizon. The stand also had a late model Aronde, a 1960 P60. Next door, the MATRA club stand featured my brother Kev's MATRA SIMCA Bagheera, A Rancho (based on the SIMCA pickup) and a 1.6 Talbot MATRA Murena. Great show where I talked myself hoarse on the cars.
