This was once my pride and you.
My 1982 Chrysler (Valiant) It was a rare model being the top of the line with an extra "Le Baron" package on top of it.
This was the most expensive Chrysler available in Australia in it's day. The alloys were installed when the first owner took delivery of this car.
It has a 5.2 Liter V8 , automatic gear box, aircon, electric everything.
The only thing not stock is the exhaust and steering wheel. They never came standard with a twin exhaust. It cost me a few dollars but when I
kicked a gear down under an overpass costs were forgotten quickly. The steering wheel was a fathers day present.
When I owned it it was rust free and close to immaculate. I really pampered that car.
A shame to see it so far gone. I sold it about 12 years ago

In this article they say that In 1978 Chrysler released a limited edition run of 400 special Regal Le Baron models (option A17). The Le Baron was available only in Silver, with red or blue interiors. The 265 Hemi-6 was standard, and the 318 V8 was optional.
My Chrysler was a 1981 model sold new in 1982 as a Regal Le Baron in yellow.
