Looking at moon disc options for my VW Polo / 13 inch diameter standard steel wheels ? Saw a set on fleabay but looks like you need to take them off to inflate the tyres Any one with resourceful insight know of an alternative but still giving that moon disc look from other wheel hub caps Thanks in advance

why not "Go with Moon"? they can be fitted straight to the rim using three self tappers and are easy to remove,it will not have adverse effects on tyre pressure when done right.how often do you envisage having to inflate your tyres and why? I've run Moons of differing sizes on my Imp including 13" that I sold on via RR to then be fitted on a Skoda and then a Polo pickup. I'm yet to find something that looks as good or better than a Moon when it comes to that "Moon disc look" Good luck Bryan

I ran the hubcap version that they also sell on my passat, was as simple to remove as a regular hubcap. I did lose one once though.....

Just a question out of interest using self tappers / do they attach to outer rim / if so does that involve removing tyres or do you fit self tappers higher up on rim / great idea but a forum member who as done it is always best for knowledge or suppose could drill tiny holes in moon disc and use cable ties to prevent one being lost ?

Once the wheels were back on the car I backed and faced the holes on the discs with thin nylon washers and then locked them down, the only slight hassle was the balancing weights being in the way which I had switched to the inside rims instead. hope this helps...
