Definitely worth watching race two of the St Mary's Trophy, if only for the moment the red Lotus Cortina slides, digs in, flips and rolls, smacking into the rear quarter of one of the Galaxies in the process (driver OK, fortunately). The most epic part being the way the Galaxie shrugs as if to say "oh, must be a gnat" and continues serenely on its way largely unaffected. Like, a ton of Ford just bounced off your rear wing, did you not even notice?  |

That Cortina was quite a hefty roll, as it first started going over it didnt look like it was going to roll that fast, then it really digs in and was quite a violent looking roll.
Amazing racing all round given the rarity and value of the cars, its like the one day of the year when they really go for it.
For me, this was race of the day
If you don't smile at this, theres something wrong.

Still need to get my photos up from the Sunday - my first revival, I had a cracking time. |

God I love the St Mary's Trophy. It should be an entire event of it's own. And Rob Huff is a legend. i prefer it to the RAC TT (48,000 cobras vs an e type and a tvr griffith) more diversity plus road cars (so to speak) |
